the Quebec Glaucoma Foundation was created in spring of 2007.

fondation-du-glaucome-du-quebecThe foundation aims to raise public awareness in Quebec to encourage people at risk to be screened for early diagnosis. The Foundation aims to promote and to facilitate scientific and medical research on the causes and treatment of glaucoma. On a genetic level we want to look for the elements involved in glaucoma and specify the chromosomal regions that can play a role in the appearance of this disease. This would make it possible to identify the population at risk and thus promote early diagnosis.

Our Mission

  • Raise awereness about glaucoma
